The WWW is 15 Years Old

On August 6, 1991, he Tim Berners-Lee posted a short summary of the World Wide Web project on the alt.hypertext newsgroup. This date also marked the debut of the Web as a publicly available service on the Internet. In the newsgroup post Tim said the project "aims to allow links to be made to any information anywhere".

Today the WWW is 15 years old, a day to remember the effort of all those who worked to make the internet available for everybody and contributed to its development until today. Thanks Tim and long live to WWW.
