Hatem, 28 years, is the founder of PHPMagazine.net and the Tunisian PHP Community [fr]. Energy engineer academically, he was teaching computer science in Monastir University of Sciences in Tunisia, and worked as freelance, PHP expert, consultant and system architect for many years. He is currently working in e-Government engineering.
Ben is active in the open source community and have provided many solutions for websites, database, network, communication, telephony, e-commerce, e-gov ... and more. Some of the open source projects he developped include MySQL Backup Pro, VoiceXML PHP Framework, Qmail Frontend, SQLite Frontend, ...

Hatem Z. [aka Tom], 29 years, senior R&D software engineer in an italian company and project manager of some systems/frameworks developed by himself or integrated with others. Tom is also an RHCE, linux expert, high-level developer and advisor. He is the author the project "Mignart", the Customer-Care software currently used by the National Tunisian Telecom
Tom is also teaching new technologies and web applications in a computer sciences institut. He got some publications and contributions in different open-source projects and led in a couple of conferences and symposiums for various IT-related thematics.
